New Canon 50D camera and fisheye lens!

One of my presents for my 21st was a canon 50D camera!!!

I had a bit of a play in the garden with my fisheye lens...

Trees of all kinds

First day of "a drawing/sketch/photo a day" and I've already set the standard pretty low.. arghhh owell... theres are some very quick sketches I did of different tree types, pretty boring

MISSION

A drawing/sketch/photo a day for a year!

Some more of my watercolours. I also used a black pencil to outline some of the petals. Both pieces are 57cm x 75cm

The blue on the first one was actually a mistake, for some reason I thought I had a dark burgundy colour on my brush but it was actually blue, I tried to blend the blue in and add it to other areas of the piece to make it look like I deliberately wanted the blue there... I think it worked. I really like how it turned out.

Don't really like this one, its pretty boring in colours, theme, composition... blah blah blah... the pink rose has been done to death. won't do that again

More etchings...... on bark this time

I tried doing some etching on bark.... wayyyyy harder then I initially thought it would be. The etching didn't really show up very well so I rubbed black ink which seemed to help it stand out more. (not a very good picture but you get the idea)

Stamp Series - Great Barrier Reef

The brief was to design a stamp series, including 5 stamps and an advertising poster for them. This is my final... I went with a Great Barrier Reef theme because I had just come back from the Whitsundays and had heaps of underwater pictures which I used for inspiration/references

Metro Trains Poster Competition... I WON!!

The competition was for Metro Train in Melbourne to design a poster with the theme for 'Bringing Melbourne Together'.

I won and it's currently on display a numerous train station across Melbourne and had a full page in the MX a couple of times (plus got $1000 for it). Check out the website here.
