Idea for number 2. or series

Pretty rough drawing and it got kind of wet at the top... The flowers are Magnolias. I like the girls hair but I'm not completely happy with her eyes of the way the flowers look like they're growing out of her ear or attached to the side of her face.. and her neck looks a bit to thick

1st one almost done!

So I've almost finished the 1st watercolour of this series that I've started. I just want to add a some darker areas in her hair and some shadow behind the flowers so they don't look like they are floating so more and then it'll be done!

Progress shot... I really like how its coming along, I've pretty much finished her and now I'm working my way through all the leaves and I'll do the flowers last.

First one of a series! - started

I've always wanted to create a series of 8-12 large scale drawings/watercolours with girls faces with flowers but concentrating on the girls hair and the flowers. This is going to be the first of the series. They will all be A1 size and all done in the same way. This was the scan out of my A4 sketch book. There are some things that need to be changed... the flowers need to look more they are growing out and around her hair, I need to drawing more hair behind and through the flowers.

I then transferred the drawing onto the A1 sized paper for the final. This was just a photograph I took of it. I did with a mechanical pencil very lightly so its very dark to actually see in this photograph, but its there...

Balloon over mystery city - Finished!

This was how it turned out... I just photographed it so the colours aren't completely right and the darkness down the right side of it isn't actually on there its just a shadow. I quite like it except I think the colours are to similar so it doesn't have much depth and looking at it now I wish i'd done the balloon in a purple or blue colour to make it stand out from the sky more.
